Plantashun Boiz split up caused by 2face

THERE PRODUCER BACK IN THE DAYS NELSON BROWN SAID 2FACE CAUSED THE SPLIT UP, I DNT KNOW IF IT WAS GREED OR SOMETHING BUT I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE DONE BETTER IF THEY WERE THREE. THEY CAN BE A GROUP BUT STILL RELEASE THEIR SINGLES LIKE THE FOREIGN ARTISTES.
THIS WAS NELSON' EXPLANATION.
"I never wanted them to split, because when we started, we had plans. We had dreams, goals and mission to go places. Hence, it was so unfortunate that they splitted and went their separate ways. But I believe that they will definitely come back one day. Why the Plantashun Boiz actually splitted up was because Tuface felt that the group was dragging him behind. There must be two persons out of the three before any decision could be made. This is just one of the reasons because I personally spoke to Tuface and he told me that the group was dragging him behind. Secondly, they said they were not making money as a group.

Those guys are single and they are three and how would three people be sharing the money one artiste would earn outside. If they go their separate ways they would make money for themselves than staying together as a group. Also, they are complaining that I did not promote their music very well and I am supposed to have taken them to the international market. It was not true that there was a misunderstanding when I refused to produce Blackface’s respond to Eedris Abudukareem’s Wakawekee MCs.

FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI: REMEMBERED FOR LIFE

Olufela Olusegun Oludotun Ransome-Kuti was born in 1938 and twenty years later he started a career that, at his death, had earned him worldwide fame and considerable fortune. When he started his musical career in 1958 one could rightly say that he didn't know it would turn out to be what it turned out to be.

He introduced the afrobeat music ten years later when he started taking the struggle for the nigerian enterprise as a personal one. And...mhen...what followed was no joke at all. He was jailed several times, especially during the military juntas that ruled the country. He was particularly not best of friends with former president Olusegun Obasanjo who, Fela claimed, had a hand in the death of his mother who was thrown out the window during one of several raids on Fela's home.

Fela died on the 2nd of AUgust 1997 at around 4 pm of 'AIDS related illness' according to his brother, Dr. Beko Ransome-Kuti. His popularity amongst the nigerian masses was never as about a hundred and fifty thousand persons attended his burial.

It is a well known fact that Fela will always be alive in our minds...that's why we here also join in remembering the Black President.

DBANJS NEW MR ENTERTAINER

I HAVE POSTER ABOUT DBANJ NEWS ALBUM BUT THIS TIME AM DOING IT AGAIN COS THIS GUY CANT STOP HOLDING ME DOWN. I HAVE TRIED TO ANALYSE SOME OF HIS TRACKS HERE.
Tracks like 'Mo gbono feli feli', 'Fall in Love', 'Igwe', and 'Olorun maje' have been enjoying so much air play that D'Banj himself must have been flattered. Everywhere you go these days, you hear one of those tracks, from clubs to parties, bars, restaurants and almost everywhere else that music is played.

'Mo gbono feli feli'(meaning "I'm hot"), tells his fans exactly that. Trul.... he's hot and he says; "Don't hate me cos I'm hotter than you".

One can only hope that the kokomaster really means those words he used in the track; 'Fall in Love'. If he really means them then we should see him marry very soon and as I said earlier.... one can only hope.

'Igwe' is kinda eastern Nigeria oriented. The track title itself is the itle of a ruler in the eastern part of Nigeria. The guy managed to pull off some of the lyrics in Igbo language…thumbs up for that.

I must admit that D'Banj always has a way of bringing God into his albums. 'Olorun maje' is to 'The Entertainer' what 'Mobolowon' was to his first album. This track is like a prayer to God: 'Some people dey pray make I die, why? Olorun Maje o, Olorun Maje".

The album also has other tracks like; celebrate featuring Wande Coal, Suddenley, Gbelogbelo featuring Special Ed., If dey crase featuring K-Switch, Entertainer and Kimun maki8ng a total of ten tracks.

MAN WITH 86WIVES: (NEW KOKOMASTER)

This man Mohammed Bello Abubakar, 84, has advised other men not to follow his example and marry 86 women.

The former teacher and Muslim preacher, who lives in Niger State with his wives and at least 170 children, says he is able to cope only with the help of God.

"A man with 10 wives would collapse and die, but my own power is given by Allah. That is why I have been able to control 86 of them," he told the BBC.

He says his wives have sought him out because of his reputation as a healer.

i wander where he get the power even dbanj wey be kokomaster no fit try am.

Chelsea's Return Bid For Robinho

Any Chelsea deal involving Madrid's Brazilian ace hit a snag recently when Real Chief Ramon Calderon dismissed allegations that Robinho would be London-bound.

Los Blancos' number 10 on the other hand felt used by his club while Real pursued Ronaldo.

Robinho's agent, Wagner Ribeiro, tellingly revealed a move for his client would be preferred. Marca quote him as saying: "His ambition is to become the world's best player, but he won’t achieve that at Madrid because they treat him like a normal player."

Meanwhile, Chelsea are not letting a rebuffed bid of £21million perturb them as they are currently preparing a second bid.

The Mirror claim that the La Liga champions would settle for a deal in the region of £30million. A key factor in a trade would be Robinho's desire to link up with Luiz Felipe Scolari.

Ribeiro spoke well of their relationship: "He is getting affection from Chelsea boss Scolari. He knows Robinho well and calls him every day."

Chelsea are currently enjoying a growing Portuguese-speaking contingent, with Jose Bosingwa, Deco, and Scolari, joining Ricardo Carvalho, Alex, Bellitti, Hilario, and Paulo Ferriera, in West London.

Chelsea Thrash Milan In Friendly

The Blues took the lead in the opening minutes courtesy of a Frank Lampard free kick that was poorly defended by Milan and which somehow found its way into the back of the net.

Chelsea then doubled their lead five minutes later through Anelka who scored with a shot from the edge of the area, for his first goal of the match.

Wright-Phillips then went close for Chelsea as they completely dominated the early exchanges, before Anelka got his second, and Chelsea’s third, after an awful error by goalkeeper Kalac, left the Frenchman with an easy tap in to an empty net.

Milan, missing key players such as Kaka, Pato, Inzaghi and Borriello, had few chances in the first half and went in to the break a rather beleaguered three nil down.

It didn’t get much better for the Rossoneiri in the second half. Scolari freshened up his side at the break swapping Ballack for Deco and the former Barcelona man was involved in his side’s fourth goal. The Portuguese combined well with Malouda whose cross was headed home by Anelka for his hat trick goal.

The Frenchman then wrapped things up just under the hour mark, Malouda again finding his compatriot who converted from close range.

Scolari then took pity on Milan by replacing the four goal Anelka shortly after for Shevchenko who faced his former team but once again, was unable to find the back of the net.

Although Chelsea had further openings with Malouda and Deco both going close, the game ended 5-0 and Chelsea will now return to London ahead

Who Should Be Arsenal's Last Signing?

Arsene Wenger is a man of many strata. He is as set in his ways as they come in modern management, far from easily pleased and seemingly oblivious to the aspirations of the fans. A great manager though he may be, he rarely takes the direction anybody is expecting, or hoping he will. This is as much to his credit as it is his and the club's detriment, as often his unwavering inflexibility has ultimately cost the Gunners at crucial moments over the years. Fans have time and time again reminded the world that Arsene knows, but as the club continues to fall short on all fronts, even the most loyal of Arsenists are struggling to hold a candle to their most beloved boss.

This summer's transfer dealings thus far have left many supporters feeling increasingly inferior to league rivals Manchester United and Chelsea. Even Liverpool are taking steps, though small and typically thrifty, in the right direction. The Gunners have lost no less than three midfielders so far this summer and Emmanuel Adebayor's future has still not been categorically classified by the player himself. Wenger is confident he is staying, but his stance regarding the Togonator is eerily similar to that he had to Aliaksandr Hleb, who officially signed for Barcelona last week.

As it stands, Arsenal are currently worse off than they were at the end of the season. With Gilberto Silva, Aliaksandr Hleb and Mathieu Flamini out and Carlos Vela (recalled from loan), Aaron Ramsey and Samir Nasri in, it is, as it so often tends to be, a case of out with the old and in with the new for the Wenger boys. The talent and potential of Vela and Nasri in particular is undisputed, but a sizeable chunk of the side's steel has been removed due to the loss of Flamini and Gilberto. The Brazilian looked a shadow of his former self last season when given intermittent opportunities to start successive games; it was almost as if Flamini's emergence came at his expense and gravely affected his confidence. A move was certainly best for him, and Nasri could prove a superb successor to Hleb, but it is the loss of the 24-year-old Frenchman that has not yet been accommodated for. Aaron Ramsey is of a different mould entirely, and was not even playing regularly for Cardiff City, so the notion of him doing so in the top flight is highly unlikely.
