Mike Tyson weds girlfriend

Boxer Mike Tyson has married for a third time, two weeks after his 4-year-old daughter died in a tragic treadmill accident. The former heavyweight champion and his bride, Lakiha Spicer, exchanged vows Saturday in a short, private ceremony.

Tyson was previously married to actress Robin Givens in 1988 and Monica Turner in 1997.
His first marriage ended after one year after Givens filed for divorce and said in a nationally televised interview that she was afraid of Tyson. His marriage to Turner lasted five years.

Djinee back with another hit "Overkilling"

Djinee is back after a three year break on his hit single Ego. Djinee releases hot new blazing single " OVERKILLIN" off his upcoming self titled album Djinee. Djinee speaks on life experiences on is new single.

I’m so lonely, Eucharia Anunobi, talks on life without her runaway husband

Yes, I believe in God, and He’s been wonderful to me,” Eucharia said. “I am a blessed and lucky girl. I’ve been born again for about 10 years, and God is so good to me.”
Eucharia still laughs heartily. She still enjoys a good joke. But talk about her husband who showed a clean pair of heels, and a dark pall momentarily comes onto her beautiful, effervescent face.

“Yes, he ran away. He left me and my son,” she said gravely.

Did you quarrel?
“Husband and wife dey quarrel now,” she answered flatly.
And then another question: Have you been able to get over it?
“Well, I’m lonely. This is somebody I shared seven years of my life with. Apart from the times I went for movie shoots, we were never apart. So, it’s not been easy. When I wake up now, I’m on my own. I suddenly find I have no one to cook for, nobody to help carry my son when he’s sick. It’s terrible.
But I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe we are not meant to be.”

Will being born again affect the kind of roles she would be acting now?
“I have been born again for more than 10 years so I will not say being born again will stop me from acting or stop me from taking a particular role. The job of an artiste is to play different characters.
I’m a child of God. I will not do tardy roles. But as long as it is something that would educate and entertain people and also promote a message, I’ll do it. When I play the role of a prostitute in a movie, we are showing and showcasing to the world that those who do this kind of job, the consequence at the end of the day is always negative.”

One selling point of this glamorous actress is her diction.

How did she develop it?
“I must say, it’s not going to school that makes you speak well, though I read English. For my diction, I think practice makes perfection. While growing up, even till now, I read the dictionary a lot. I learn to do pronunciations and I watch T.V. I listen to people who speak well and I do what you call self-training because if you want to be good and you want to be like someone, then you have to learn to be like them. Most of the time, those people that speak well on TV, when they talk, I imitate them, I learn and I want to talk like them. So, I have done what you call self teaching all along overtime and that is what I am still doing because life is about improving yourself and that is what I have been doing.”

The remarkable hairstyle?
“It’s part of me and also I learn on the job that as a woman, you should take care of yourself all the time and always turn out looking good. Some say I’m crazy about my hair. I sweat a lot, and I can’t stand smell, so I do my hair every week. It costs money, but I have to do it because of our weather.”

Grammy Special: J. Holiday feel special

With the Grammys just days away, J. Holiday couldn’t contain his happiness about his nomination. And even though Holiday has some stiff competition - Mary J Blige, Ne-Yo, and newcomers Karina and Jazmine Sullivan are the other nominees in the category – the D.C. crooner feels he has better than a puncher’s chance at taking home the statue. Holiday talks about what it means to be nominated, putting together Back of My ‘Lac and what to expect from his next album.

“I put my heart and soul into [Back of My ‘Lac]. A lot of it was my struggles and pains and changes I was going through at the time so you know to have a Grammy nomination for it works. It means a lot to me, it’s showing me that, you know, finally my peers are actually taking a look at what I’m doing musically – that all my hard work wasn’t in vain.

Malaysian Islamic party wants ban on 'sexy' Rihanna concert: report

Malaysia's conservative Islamic party has called for R&B sensation Rihanna to be banned from performing here next month, saying her outfits are too sexy, a report said Wednesday.

The Pan-Malaysian Islamic party (PAS), which has mounted protests against the United States over its support of Israel, said that concertgoers would also contribute to an outflow of local currency to the United States.

"Whether Rihanna realises it or not, we know that the taxes she has paid also contributed to the war in Gaza," Kamaruzaman Mohamad, a PAS youth wing leader

Justin Timberlake "Magic"

I've been a fan of Timberlake's since Justified, so anytime I see some new tracks from him, I'm always intrigued. This one is undeniable, has that back to the future funk about it. I been on this kick where I wanna dance... while sitting down. If I'm sitting in a chair or in the backseat of someone's car, and my jam comes on, I'm all arms moving, bobbin' my head, just straight ROCKIN' to the shit. On the dancefloor? Same ol' two-step. But in any case, peep this one. Note to JT: could you do a full length album of tracks like this with Stargate, as opposed to going waaaaaaay left with Timbaland? Thanks.
I WILL UPLOAD THE SONG LATER YEA!!!

JAY-Z IS THE MAN TO WATCH IN 2009

I LOVE JAYZ WITH PASSION HE IS THE MAN TO WATCH THIS YEAR? WHAT DO YOU THINK???

Claim to Fame: After releasing ten successful albums, Jay-Z announced his retirement from rapping (which he later reneged on) and traded in his jersey for a business suit as the newly-appointed president and CEO of Def Jam Recordings.
In 2003, Jay-Z was set to release a tell-all autobiography, The Black Book, co-written by hip hop journalist and friend, Dream Hampton, but pulled out after citing it was “too personal.”

Stars preparing for Golden Globes

A host of stars will attend the Golden Globes in Los Angeles later, for what is expected to be the glitziest event so far in this year's awards season.

The event returns to a traditional format, having been called off and replaced by a news conference in 2008 owing to the Hollywood writers' strike.

Kate Winslet, Ralph Fiennes and Kristin Scott Thomas are among the British actors in line for honours.

The film and TV awards come from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

The Globes are often regarded as an indicator of the movies and actors who will go on to win honours at the Academy Awards on 22 February.

Unlike the Oscars or the Baftas, however, the ceremony has different categories for dramas and comedies.

Brad Pitt's fantasy The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is nominated in five film categories, as are the stage-play adaptations Doubt and Frost/Nixon.

R. Kelly And Spouse Divorce Officially ......

After a whirlwind relationship that has included hit records, sold-out shows, child rape cases, and shocking interviews, Robert Kelly and his wife of 11 years, Andrea Lee Kelly, are now officially divorced.

Though the reasons for the divorce are quite obvious in the overall public consciousness of devout Kelly-saga followers, Andrea Lee, 35, claims the 42-year-old singer also physically abused her. The six-year child abuse case, which Kelly was acquitted of June 2008, didn’t help either. The two originally filed for divorce in 2006, but decided to work things out instead.

The lawyers for both parties announced their divorce as being official, on Thursday. The two have agreed to maintain joint custody of their three kids.

Andrea Lee developed a relationship with the singer and composer while working as a choreographer for his tours and music videos during his sexually-charged heyday. They married in 1996, right after Andrea turned 22.

Tuface Idibia Interview

I love Tuface Idibia
The guy’s hilarious
Nothing obviously fazes him
When you really think about it, it’s probably the best way to live life
Make the best of every situation you find yourself in
He recently granted an interview to Uche Olehi of Encomium magazine
I found the interview hilarious; I don’t know how you would find it...
Enjoy…

What would you say is the nicest thing that happened to you in 2008?
Tuface “I thank God for my lovely and healthy kids (Five in number). I also won World Music award and equally embarked on a world tour"

What about your album? It wasn’t a commercial success?
Tuface “That wasn’t a complete album. Each of the tracks is a single. The album is still coming"

How are you starting the New Year?
Tuface “I go start am by stopping every bad thing wey I do last year”

Like womanizing?
Tuface “You know all of them (laughs) I don’t need to tell you"

How many kids do you have now?
Tuface “You can count them, but we don’t count children in my place"

Congrats on your new child with Annie Macauley
Tuface “Thank you”

So you have got something to show for the on-and-off relationship at last?
Tuface “if you say so. I loved her without any condition”

How is the bundle of joy doing?
Tuface “I’m not there with them, but from what they say, they are fine”

What are you most grateful for?
Tuface “My family"

Why are you a people’s man?
Tuface “That’s my nature”

And all the women in your life?
Tuface “I no wowo now (I am not ugly) Check am, see am, that maybe why they are after me"

You also have too much money to spend on them?
Tuface “Thanks God for that”

They say married women now use Tuface as a point of contact to have children
Tuface “I thank God for their lives (laughs)

What do you wish for your kids?
Tuface “Good luck and blessings”

And the mother of your children?
Tuface “I wish them more blessing and I respect them"

See y'all later

9ice, D'Banj, Basketmouth win Dynamix youth Awards

9ice, D'Banj and Basketmouth are amongst the set of people who would be ending this year on a high note as they, over the past weekend, emerged winners in different categories of the Dynamix all youth awards.

9ice's 'Gongo Aso' was, quite deservingly, named the song of the year shrugging off Naeto C's 'Kini Big Deal', D'banj's 'Fall in Love', P-Square's 'Do Me' and J Martins' 'Good or Bad'. It's just another pointer 9ice's success this year.

D'Banj's year also climaxed on a high as he beat 2 Face, Asa, Timaya, Naeto C, 9ice, Banky W and P Square to the Artiste of the year award.

Basketmouth won, as I rightly predicted, the youth comedian of the year award. Owen G, Jedi, Tunde Ednut, Basket mouth, Princess, I go die, Bash and Seyi law all were all nominated in this category.

Naeto C was the Best new artiste winner while MP won the most promising youth artiste award. Other winners in the awards are Denrele Edun who won in the TV personality category, Cool FM's Gbemi won the radio personality award, Funke Akindele won the best movie act award for her role in the widely popular 'Jennifer'amongst others.
